In 2004, Crittenton played alongside Dwight Howard during his sophomore year at Southwest Atlanta Christian School, where they won the GHSA Class A state Championship. The following year, without Howard Crittenton carried SACA to the State Finals where he averaged 28.4 points-per game, 7.5 assists, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 steals per game. During the same year he played in the USA Youth development Festival winning a gold medal. Crittenton’s senior year at SACS was just as good, he averaged 29 points, seven rebounds and nine assists per game. SACA went 28-5 and defeated Whitefield Academy for the state title. Along with the many accomplishments during high school, Crittenton still managed to maintain a 3.5 GPA, along with being a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and was also involved in the Senior Beta Club.
