Luke Walton will have surgery Friday to remove bone spurs from his right ankle and expects to be out of action for four weeks.
Walton hopes the surgery will alleviate the pain he felt in the ankle all last season.
“It’s the kind of thing that you don’t know if the surgery will help. But I’m optimistic,” Walton said by phone.
